Always Know Your OutcomeYou need to know your outcome before you embark on anything . . . Why is it important to know your outcome? Because if you actually take the time to know your outcome and think about it -- visualize it happening the way you want it -- you may decide that you don't like the outcome you've visualized. Or you may decide you want to go a different way. Or you may decide that that outcome isn't obtainable. See, only when you take time to "see" the outcome will you be able to make an intelligent decision. When you learn to make intelligent decisions, you succeed faster. Let's say you're going to a meeting and you just hope you'll come out OK. Something surprising happens and you end up carrying the biggest load (now for some people, that's OK. For others, assuming they didn't want the extra work, it's a biiiig surprise.) No one can say you didn't ask for it. Your physiology begged for it. Why? Who knows. The important thing is if you had wanted something different to happen and you had taken the time to visualize it, you would have reacted differently to each thing said. You would have been more in control. Think about it for a moment. Either you had "Shovel it here" on your forehead or you were bored or . . . whatever. Maybe your boss decided you needed the work and reacted accordingly. Really, who knows what happened. I'm just saying I know what didn't happen. You didn't project what you could have projected. It just takes a few minutes to sit down and visualize the meeting, the get together, the shopping spree. If you don't take that few minutes to do it right, guess what happens. You leave it up to whomever. Who wants to do that? Who wants to have someone else in charge of their lives? Get into the habit of thinking for yourself. If you do start thinking for yourself, pretty soon things will start happening to you that you want, that you've been visualizing. It doesn't matter if things don't go right, right away. The thing is, you've got to keep plugging away at it. You've got to take charge of yourself in the little things so the big things will work for you too. Then, you can't say "I don't know why this happened to me." Or "Why does this always happen to me?" Or "I knew I'd mess up." See, when you consistently take the time to visualize good things happening or just visualizing the picture of you coming out in top form, then, sooner or later, it HAS to happen. That's how our brains work. To capsule: Before you go anywhere, do anything, call anyone, buy anything -- sit down and visualize the scenario as a success. The more you do this, the more your brain will catch on to what you are doing. Give it three weeks. Yes, three weeks of visualizing, three weeks of finding out what you really want, three weeks of taking charge of your life! Thanks for reading. P.P.S.
