Never Show You Are Hurt
Never show you are "hurt". (Hurt, meaning sick, aching, or in pain.) You know why? Because, then, your "hurt" is out there for all to see. Is that bad? Yes.
It's important to know which reactions you want, because if the reaction you want is sympathy, that's probably what you are going to get -- that's a person's normal reaction to seeing someone hurt or in pain.. But, why would you want sympathy? Does it help you get better?
