Can Paranoia Be Good?

Yes. Once you understand this type of paranoia, mental paranoia can be very good . . .

If it's developed paranoia -- developed in a very good way.

What do I mean by that? Well, this is what David has to say:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

David Leonhardt, of the Happy Guy.
http://www.thehappyguy.com/daily-happiness-free-ezine.html

"You have every reason to be paranoid. There are people all around you scheming and plotting to make you...happy.

People who, at a drop of a hat, would think nothing of doing some awfully nice deed. People who might smile at you or even be helpful."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hm. If you develop this very good paranoia, does that mean that by the time you get to the grocery store, the office, the downtown area, wherever you are going, there are actually people there that might want to help you, to make you feel better, to be awfully nice to you?

Wow. If you thought that, wouldn't you arrive with a smile on your face? (I mean, who wouldn't, when they knew there were people there ready and willing to help them?)

Wouldn't YOU be happy? Wouldn't YOU be ready and willing to help them and put a smile on their face, also? No doubt! Because guess what? We all deserve it!

Of course, there is the other side of the coin. You could be disappointed. You could arrive at your destination and, even though you've developed this beautiful new paranoia, no one smiles, no one greets you, no one helps you.

But you know what? I don't think that's at all possible.

Why?

Because if you go where you are going expecting great things to happen, YOU are smiling, YOU are happy, YOU are . . . Well, YOU are contagious! Have you ever looked at a smiling, happy baby and kept a frown on your face? It just isn't possible. Smiling brings more smiles.

Start seeing the world in a different light. Start developing paranoia -- in a very good way. Start helping others smile.

Good luck! And . . . Keep on smiling! Someone might be just around the corner who needs one. :)

Thanks for reading.

Jan
