What Is Your Conscious Mind Telling your Subconscious? The most important duty of your conscious mind is to . . . Tell your subconscious what you want! So, what HAS it been telling your subconscious mind? Chances are, if you are where you dont want to be in your life, its been telling your subconscious mind that things arent going well. That you cant remember things. That so and so doesnt like you. That you cant do it. That you are broke. That business is bad. And guess what. Your subconscious mind has believed it. It believes everything your conscious mind has told it. If you want change, youve got to change that. Lets see what this metaphor says to you. Imagine or pretend that you are in a movie theater. Sit in the center seat in the third row from the front. Imagine having a clipboard so you can jot down changes you want to implement, because you are a director of the little scenario we are about to see. Now, call up an actor. Direct, as directors do, the actor to sit on the chair thats on center stage. Now direct him, as you have been directing yourself most of your life ... only now youll be more conscious of it. Give the person up on the stage his cue. The cue is "Things arent going well." Does that persons head go down as he hears this? Do his shoulders slump? Does he have a frown on his face? Didnt he more than likely just personally program the rest of his day, as well as what he was doing there on stage? Unless he has learned how to leave it behind, he did. And things ARENT going to go well, are they? Well, if an actor carries a thought that he or she was just given for a play, think how much more personal it is for you. You tell yourself something. You believe it. It programs your day. This is what you have done all along. You realize, now, what you've been telling yourself, AND your subconscious mind, your whole life. But you know what? You can change. You can change by telling the *actor*, your subconscious mind, that it is a beautiful day. Do you catch the correlation? The director is your conscious mind, the actor is your subconscious mind. Now, would you really want to say the things you used to say? Like things arent going well. You cant remember things. So and so doesnt like you. Youre getting old. You cant do it. You are broke. Well, if thats what you are still telling yourself, take a look at that actor again on the stage. What does he do, how does he react, with this programming? Not good, right? So lets change it. Lets have you be in control. OK, heres what you do about it. You shut the door of your conscious mind on every negative thought, and you must keep it from returning. Heres how you do it. Whenever you have a negative thought, raise your arms high in the air. Raise them higher and higher and move them around. At the same time, yell CANCEL, CANCEL! Scrunch up your face and shout CANCEL, CANCEL! Move your body, demanding that your conscious mind pay attention and cancel that negative thought. If you are able to do that with a focused effort, that thought will not want to come back. Your brain will not allow it! Especially, if this is what you are going to do every time your mind thinks it! When you intend to think good thoughts, your brain responds accordingly. If you intend to experience health, happiness, wealth, or anything else, youll create those conditions and the first place to start is in your mind. Sit down and have a good talk with the director of your mind. Your conscious mind. Tell it what you will, and will not, accept. The important thing to remember is if you can think, you can change. Take charge of your thoughtsw. Take charge of your life. When you have taken charge of your life, success speaks for itself. Tell a friend, with or without words. Take special care of your subconscious mind. Have a good life. Thanks for reading. P.P.S. If you like this article, tweet it and Facebook it. Share it with all your friends!
