If you can, do this exercise for five minutes a day, three times a day (The best times are first thing in the morning, in the middle of the day, and just before you go to sleep at night.): Find a place where you can relax, at a time where no one will disturb you. Listen to soothing music, if you like, as you sit and think peaceful thoughts. When you are ready, count down from ten down to one, taking a deep breath with each number. Now, visualize you standing in front of you. You have a stiff neck, you can't move your neck from side to side. Visualize this for just a second. Now, immediately visualize moving your head to the left, very slowly and pain-free. Now, to the right. Feel how it feels to be pain-free. Do this several times before going on. Now, visualize moving your head up and down, very slowly and pain-free. Feel how it feels to be pain-free. Do this several times before going on. Now, visualize turning your head to the left, then to the right, then up, then down in a clockwise movement. Feel how it feels to be pain-free. Do this several times before going on. Now, visualize soft music flowing into your head, and slowly going down your neck, then down into your whole body. Feel how it feels to be pain-free. Do this for a minute or two before going on. Repeat until the time is up. When your time is up, slowly open your eyes and count from one to five, at each count say to yourself how happy and grateful you are to have a healthy body. Thanks for reading.
