Why
Not Think . . . *I Don't Care*? Copyright
© Jan Tincher - All Rights reserved Do you ever think this? *Oh, no. I can feel the cold coming now. My sinuses are starting to clog, and my head is starting to ache.* . . .
Why not do this, instead? Instead of thinking the above, why not think *I don't care.* Then, go about your business? Instead of thinking about the cold you *think* you can feel coming, why not look at you Power Picture? (If you aren't familiar with your Power Picture, learn about it here: http://www.tameyourbrain.com/powerpicture.htm ) Your mind brings about these old thoughts because of the stimuli that precedes the various illnesses or negative thoughts. When you feel that cold coming on, that twinge that says Arthritis is coming to all your fingers, that feeling that says *I can't afford anything* (I know that's not an illness, but it does fit in here <grin>), decide right then that you don't care. Now, hear me out. I know that it stands against all your reasoning to say *I don't care* to something that you definitely care about. I know you feel like you are lying if you were to say that -- and you know lying doesn't get you anywhere. Well, why not re-label it, and see how that feels? Instead of thinking you're lying, why not think, *I'm preparing to stay well.* Now, feel that cold coming on. How does it feel? Like you know exactly what's going to happen in the next few hours? Like your nose will be plugged, or your sinuses will start draining, or your head will start aching? Maybe even all of that and more? Well, guess what? You didn't say *I don't care*, but you didn't say STOP either. So, you can actually expect your nose to be plugged, your sinuses draining, and your head aching or more. Why? Because that's what you were thinking. And when you think about something, you focus on it. The more you focus on it (think about it), the more you encourage it to happen. Your brain is a magnet to what you are thinking about. Now, try this: When you feel that cold coming on, say, *I don't care.* Say it as often as you need to. And go about your business. Do you notice anything? Maybe you didn't even get your cold. Or maybe it was so slight, you barely noticed it. Why? Because when you feel the first signs of a cold coming or anything else you think about, you normally say things to yourself like, *Oh, no. I'm going to be sick for days.* That's preparing your mind to let your body start feeling the effects that you know are going to happen. When it comes to illness and bad luck and lack and any other negativity in your life, practice saying *I don't care,* and get on with your life, preparing for the good. Remember, the more you think it, the more you say it, the more you attract it. Do you want it in your life? Why not say *I don't care, I'm going to stay healthy*? Good luck! Thanks for reading.
